Dökkálfheimr is one of the most unique and beautiful settings in Fire Emblem by far, with its magical night sky with a large blue moon, ornate castle in the far distance along with giant landmasses that look similar to Dragon Blood trees, and pink grass connected by dark purple briars, decorated with beautiful blue flowers, thorny trees, and bizarre biolumeniscent, pear-shaped lantern plants. The stunning sunrise combined with the rainbows and the stars still in the sky is the icing on the cake, giving the realm the otherworldly undertone it has. The realm has been decorated with Japanese-style objects including boats, a Torii gate, bamboo decorated with flowers in the style of the realm of dreams, and lanterns in the forest background with the stone path to the lake. It doesn't end there, as the Tempest Trials "New Treasures" revisited Ljósálfheimr with two new backgrounds. The forest background of Ljósálfheimr shows the unusual plantlife of the realm, with flowers growing even on the trees themselves, giving off subtle hints that the realm that they are in isn't Zenith, but another world entirely. The fairy realm has flowers absolutely everywhere, colorful hills and adorable little houses with grassy roofs, beautiful pine tree forests and high cliffs with waterfalls and rainbows, complete with giant beanstalks. Scenery Porn: As the years went by, Fire Emblem Heroes has had increasingly gorgeous and detailed battle backgrounds, especially when it comes to Intelligent Systems' take on the Nine Realms of Norse Mythology.
